The Kerr BOSS (Bottom Opening Storage System) tank incorporates a bottom outlet allowing accumulated moisture and sediment to exit the tank, virtually eliminating premature tank replacement. The Kerr BOSS tank is available in heavier 12 gauge steel and lighter 14 gauge steel. Individual tank warranties vary depending on tank gauge and installation location. Kerr recommends indoor installations where possible. Due to its inherently stable design, the Kerr BOSS tank is the only tank on the market that does not require anchoring indoors. That means lower installation costs for you.

QUALITY CONSTRUCTIONEach Kerr fuel oil tank is constructed of ASTM A1011 steel sheet or equivalent to ensure high quality and years of worry-free usage. Every tank undergoes an external pressurized phosphate wash treatment and is then coated with baking enamel for the best primer coat in the business. Each tank is pressure tested twice for added security and peace of mind. Canadian tanks are manufactured to ULC S602.
THICKNESS (12 & 14 GAUGE)BOSS tanks are available in either heavier 12 gauge steel or lighter 14 gauge steel. Individual warranties vary depending on tank thickness and installation location.
ANCHORINGDue to its inherently stable design, the Kerr BOSS tanks is the only tank on the market that does not require anchoring indoors, resulting in significant installation savings.
